Now, I’m not saying that CraigsList isn’t making money. I’d guess, actually, that it’s making quite a lot of money. However, this post over at Bokardo and the source information at the NY Times are a fascinating insight into one of the facets of Web 2.0 motivation - sometimes it’s just not about the money.
Nice to see CraigsList setting the bar at a good, high point driven by user experience, social responsibility and a little bit of “think different”.
Note - In an act of solidarity, no ads on this post (not that they make any real money, acidlabs has generated a little over US$100 in something over 12 months - about half what it costs us to host the site).
